Debbie Griffin

SHELBY: Deborah “Debbie” Griffin, 47, died Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Born in Mecklenburg County, she is the daughter of Judy Dale Gaston of Shelby. Debbie absolutely loved spending time with her only granddaughter, Alice. She loved music, dancing, fishing, working in her yard and on cars. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Josh Griffin and wife Ashley Malone of KY, Alex “Jack” Grobsky of FL and Ryan McCrum of NH; fiancé, Glenn Harrelson of Hickory; brothers, Hank Griffin and wife Beth of Mint Hill and Alton Griffin and wife Lisa of Shelby; and her beloved granddaughter, Alice Griffin. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Monday, July 25, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Mote officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
