Debbie Smith

BOILING SPRINGS: Debbie Hambright Smith, 63, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Hamright and Katherine Webb Wood. She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church, employed by Gardner-Webb University, loved horses, dogs and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Johnny Smith; and sons, Jamie and Robbie Smith. She is survived by her loving daughter, Caitlin Smith and boyfriend James Glenn of Boiling Springs; and sister, Donna Coleman. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Flint Hill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Shane Kirby and Keith Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Flint Hill Baptist Church.
