Deloris Austin

SHELBY: DeLoris Austin, 77, died Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Peak Resources in Shelby. Born in Burnsville, NC she was the daughter of Lithy Austin. Deloris was a member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to thrift shops and was known as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Claude Austin; and sister, Doris Austin Edwards. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Lowery and husband A.J. of Shelby; sons, Tommy Burnette and Bobby Burnette, both of Shelby; grandchildren, Brent Lowery and wife Brittney, Tommy Lee Sears and Clay Champion, and Jason Lowery; great-grandchildren, Easton Lowery, Riley Parker, Emma Osborn, Angel Lee, Cassidy Brown and Dallas Spencer; and a great-great granddaughter.
