Dolores Lynn "Tootsie" Morris, 60, of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on June 13, 2024.

She was known for her kind and generous nature, her sense of humor, her loving spirit, and her energetic personality. She was full of life and had a deep love for the Lord. In her free time, Tootsie enjoyed camping, shopping, spending time with loved ones, reading, and taking leisurely walks.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Morris; her daughter, Michelle (Jeffrey) Morris; her grandson Austin Morris; her mother, Barbara Kirby; her siblings, Danny (Renee) Laws, Shannon (Mark) Broadnax, and Darla McCracken; her mother-in-law, Lillian Morris; her father-in-law, Blaine Morris; her sisters-in-law, Elaine (Allen) Davis and Debby Hardin; as well as several beloved neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Darris McDaniel Laws, and her sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Laws Absher.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in memory of Dolores "Tootsie" Morris. The service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Landmark Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The receiving will begin at 1:00PM, and the Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:30PM. May she rest in peace.
