SHELBY – Mr. Don “Shine” Bolton, 75, of First Broad Road, died Wed., Sept. 26, 2012 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Henry and Vernie Hamrick Bolton. He retired after many years as a truck driver.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, J.B. and Clint Bolton; and sister, Frances Wilson.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Melvin Wood Bolton, of the home; two daughters, Rhonda B. Skorman and husband Dr. Steve of Shelby, Cynthia B. Mohrmeyer and husband Zane of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Lucas Mello and husband Ashlea of Grover, Amanda Mello of Greenville, Sc, Selena Skorman of Charlotte, Lance Mello of Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Landen Mello, Kinsley Cline, and Lane Mello.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 2pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

RECEPTION: A reception will follow the service, at the home of his daughter, Rhonda, 413 W. Warren St., Shelby.
