Donald (Buddy) Clement, Jr.
January 28, 1961 — July 26, 2016
SHELBY-Donald Clement, Jr. (Buddy), 55, of Shelby, (formerly of Oxford, Alabama—Roll Tide!) passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 26, 2016. A native of Calhoun County, Alabama, he was the son of Donald Wayne Clement, Sr. and the late Jane Leyden Clement.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan.
He is survived by his daughters, Shaye (Andrew) Sumner, Shasta (Hector) Aguilar, and son, Shane Clement. He is also survived by the loves of his life, grandchildren, A.J. Sumner, Julian Reicht, and Isabell Aguilar. Other survivors include his father, Donald Clement, Sr., his sisters, Donna (Jon) Petersen, Kaye (David) Tillman, and Kecia (Keith) Hughes, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
Private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., on July 27, 2016, officiated by the Rev. Tommy Cook.
Interment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cleveland County Hospice House, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150 in memory of Donald Clement.
