Donald Lancaster

SHELBY- Mr. Donald Lancaster, 74, of 2716 Rockford Rd., died Wed., Feb 23rd, 2011 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Baxter and Edna Hamrick Lancaster. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Retired from the Textile Industry.


SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Norma Johnson Lancaster of the home; son Tim Lancaster and wife Lori; daughter Donna Lancaster Ledford and husband Joey; four sisters, Elizabeth Moore and husband Wayne, Mary Owens and husband Norris, all of Shelby, Rita Lancaster, and Becky Fox and husband Phil, all of Mooresboro; brother J.L. Lancaster and wife Rosemary of Shelby; three grandchildren, Brandi Scruggs and husband Matthew, Taylor and Ryan Lancaster, all of Shelby; one great great grandchild, Jesse Scruggs of Shelby


SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of his son, Tim, 2720 Rockford Rd., Shelby.
