Donna Sue Kerkesner

SHELBY: Donna Sue Nohe Kerkesner, 74, died Tuesday June 25, 2019 at Stanley Total Living Care in Stanley. A native of Parkersburg, WV, she was born March 20, 1945 to the late Donald and Helen Vargo Nohe. Our beloved Donna Sue lived a spirited life, full of love and joy always willing to share thanks to her giving spirit. The last years of her life were very much compromised after suffering a major stoke and leaving her paralyzed on her left side. We trust she is in God’s presence offering her worship for evermore. She was a member of Cypress Lakes Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers. Fl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles L. Kerkesner and nephew Joseph Lawson. She is survived by her step sons Chuck Kerkesner and wife Patty, Kit Kerkesner and wife Jelene and Dean Kerkesner, all of Fort Myers Fl.; step daughter Bonnie Huth of Akron, OH; sisters Pat Neff and husband Robert of Hartville, OH and Judy Lawson and husband Nelson of Portsmouth, OH; step brother Jeff Boone and wife Nikki of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren Chuckie, Corey, Cassidy, Jakob, Alek, Monica and Heather; great grandchildren Miranda, Logan, Tyler, Skylar, Billy, Emma, Elizabeth and Danielle; great great grandchild Charlotte; and extended family Janet Herrick Fender, Mike Fagan, Kelley Dunham, Wendy Lawson, Mark Neff, John Neff, Lanae Redmond and Natalie Boone. In addition to family, Donna had lasting loving relationships with numerous coworkers from her longtime employer Sedgwick including Pat Marlette, MaryKaye, Debbie, Joan and Pat. She appreciated the ongoing support and communication as she endured through
the final chapter of her life. The family will have a private service at a later date.
