July 16, 1929 — April 29, 2009

SHELBY- Mrs. Donna Mae Rose Kleveno McKee, 79, of 800 Dixon St., died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Palliative Care Center and Hospice of Catawba Valley. A native of Winnebago County, WI, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Rose Kleveno. She served in the U.S. Army and retired from Fiber Industries. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Floyd Collins, a sister, Jackie Zoelle and a brother, Chuck Kleveno.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by a son, Steve McKee and wife, Beulah, of Shelby; two daughters, Pam Allen and husband, Jerry of Salisbury and Lori Collins of Inman, SC; four grandchildren and their spouses, Miranda Slater and Brian of Wilmington, Carlton Allen and Amber of Hoschton, GA, Carly Allen of Salisbury and Elizabeth Shaver and Christopher of Taylors, SC; five great-grandchildren; and a special sister-in-law, Elissa Bright of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Steve McKee, 510 E. Circle Dr., Shelby.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
