WACO- Mrs. Dorothy Mae Allen, 79, died December 1, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late David and Laura Owens Allen. Mrs. Allen Retired as district manager from Jones and Presnell in Charlotte.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; and one nephew.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, December 3, 6-7:30pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
GRAVESIDE: Graveside services will be held, Friday, December 4, 3pm in Sunset Cemetery.
CLERGY: Rev. Dan Wallace will be officiating.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150
