SHELBY-Alice “Dot” Daves, 83, died Sun., Sept. 28, 2014, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Hoffman Greene. She worked at PPG, later becoming the first employee at Azdel.
PRECEDED: In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Billie Jenks, Winnie Lankford, Wonna “Tag” Holland, and Lib Blanton.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her sister, Jewel Greene; nephew, Dean Jenks and wife Jan; niece, Maxine Edmondson; great nieces, Jana and Jessalyn Jenks, and Holly Bowman; great-great-niece, Kale Bowman, all of Shelby.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Tuesday, 11:30 am, at Sunset Cemetery
VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service, at the cemetery.
