BOILING SPRINGS- Mr. Douglas Will Griffin, 63, of 411 E. Homestead Ave., Boiling Springs, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at home.
FUNERAL: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Monday, September 4, 2006 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Cleveland County to the late Frank Griffin Sr. and Mary Cook Griffin, he retired as a supervisor in the textile industry and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Moore Griffin, brother, Frank Griffin Jr. and sisters Peggy Ann Griffin and Diane Griffin Dreyfuss.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by a son, Scott Griffin and wife, Joyce of Mooresboro; a stepdaughter, Christine Sisk of Mooresboro; two sisters, Josephine Griffin Thrift and husband, Ralph, of York, SC and Ruby Griffin Thrift and husband, Marion, of Rock Hill, SC, grandson, Scott Griffin Jr.and stepgranddaughter, Christine Sisk of Mooresboro
