Duck Dover

GROVER- Donald A. “Duck” Dover, 72, passed away peacefully at his home, Tues., Feb. 23, 2016. Born Dec. 17, 1943 in Belmont, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Louvonne Holcomb Dover. Duck loved carp fishing, watching western movies and telling jokes at Fluff’s Lake and Larsons Lake. He was a brick mason for over 50 years. His family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland County, his nurses and Dr. Potts.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Dover; and sister, Nancy Price

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 49 ½ years, Nancy Lemons Dover; daughters, Donna Greene and Donita Weatherford; grandchildren, Adriana and Dawson Weatherford, Alanna Greene; sisters, Juanita Whitworth and husband Floyd, Nell Smith, Linda Bowen and husband Roger; brothers, Bob Dover and wife Becky, Martin Dover and wife Sue, Ken Dover and wife Robyn,

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 6pm, Friday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 4:30-6pm, at the funeral home
