Earl Biddix

September 20, 1940 — June 23, 2021

Kings Mountain- Earl Junior Biddix, 80, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ross and Frances Hullender Biddix. Earl worked for many years in the textile business until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Seimore, Earnest, Clarence, James William Biddix and James David (JD) Biddix; sisters, Pauline B Rippy, Bessie B Childers, and Hellen Biddix. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Minnie Rachel Jackson Biddix of the home; daughters, Judy L. Atwood and husband Gerry of Easley, SC, Robin E. Biddix Fender of York, SC, and Tammy Biddix Ashe of Kings Mountain; sister, Betty Hughes; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, particularly grateful for nephew Ronnie Biddix and wife LeAnn for being his caretaker and son he never had. Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, June 26, 2021, at New Camp Creek Baptist Church, with the Revs. Tim Smith, Richard Stroup, and Eddie Gray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
