Eddie Short

SHELBY: Eddie Short, 57, died Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Atrium Health in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of Bonnie Summey Tesseneer of Shelby and the late Jimmy Short. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors and anything dealing with sports. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Richard Tesseneer; and brother, Darrell Short. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Dwayne Tesseneer and wife Tamieka Howell of Greensboro; sister, Carol Short and fiancé Brent Eaker of Shelby; seven nephews and nieces; and six great-nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M.-7:30 P.M., Friday, July 28, 2023 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
