SHELBY: Mrs. Elizabeth M. DeBrew, 84, of 1771 Melrose Dr., died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at her son’s home in Williamston, SC.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 3 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 25th at Sunset Cemetery
OFFICIATING: Rev. Perry Holleman
VISITATION: Saturday, Nov. 25th 1-2:30 P.M. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Cleveland County, he was the daughter of the late William and Olney Champion McCurry. She retired from Porter Brothers and was a member of First Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard DeBrew, son, Ladd Debrew, and sister, Catherine Mizell.
SURVIVORS: Her son, Bobby DeBrew and wife Donna of Williamston, SC, sisters; Jo Hester and husband Wallace of Shelby, Jane Harris and husband C.T. of Charlotte, brothers; Bill McCurry and wife Marcie of Savannah, Don McCurry and wife Katherine of Earl, Clifford McCurry and wife Doris of Shelby, grandchildren; Chris and Storey DeBrew of Williamston, SC.
