Ellie Bridges

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Eloise “Ellie” Fagan Bridges, 86, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at Peak Resources-Shelby. A native of Rutherford Co., she was born to the late Boyce and Anna Underwood Fagan. She loved to read and watch TV. She attended Lander College and Gardner Webb. She retired as an office manager from Grover Family Practice.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Bridges; daughter Cynthia Payne; and brother Buddy Fagan.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Clay Thompson and wife Cindy of Kings Mountain; daughter Rebecca Thompson; sister Barbara Morton and husband Jimmy of Cherryville; brother Billy Fagan and wife Annetta of Breman, Ky; grandchildren Heather Sircey and husband Scott, Press Payne and wife Allie, and Clay Payne and fiancé McKaila; great grandchildren Braylan and Bryten Sircey; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend for many years Dora.

MEMORIAL SERVICES: will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the funeral home
