Elsie Dixon

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Elsie Fisher Dixon, 90, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Peak Resources of Cherryville. A native of York County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Pearle Tiller Fisher. She was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thomas “Chick” Dixon; sisters, Lula Terry, Beatrice Long, Elizabeth Clovas; brothers, David, Allen, Guy, Caleb, and Don Fisher; Daughter-in-law, Sarah Dixon; grandson, Mike Dixon, Jr.

SURVIVED: She is survived by two sons, Mike Dixon of Shelby, Dwight Dixon, and wife Kathy of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Lois Brown of Gastonia, Peggy Fipps of Brunswick, GA; grandchildren, Melanie Dixon and husband Scott Meyer of Lakeville, Minnesota, Amy Malcom and husband Tom of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, James Michael Dixon, III, Lowell Meyer, Stella Malcom, Reid Meyer.

SERVICES: A memorial Service will be held 4pm Sunday at El Bethel United Methodist Church with a receiving of friends immediately after the service at the church.

CLERGY: Rev. Julie Roberts and Rev. Bruce Hobson will officiate.
