Eric Gibson

SHELBY – Mr. Eric Nathan Gibson, 44 of S. Post Road, died Tuesday, Oct 9, 2012, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ray “Rick” Jr. and Catherine Davis Gibson of Shelby. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving in Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Korea, and Kuwait.

SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two sons, Corey Gibson of Shelby, and Conner Gibson of Colorado; sister, Brandy Gibson Beason and husband Chris of Boiling Springs; two nieces, Hannah and Ericah Beason; and nephew, Luke Beason.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be Friday, 11am, at Sulphur Springs U.M.C

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, 6-7:30pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his mother, Catherine Gibson, 624 Poplar Dr., Shelby.
