Eric Pope

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Eric Pope,50, died Friday, January 24,2025 at his home. He was the son of the late Brenda Smith Fisher. Eric enjoyed working on cars, going to the race track and he loved picking with his grandkids. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Reid Smith. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Pope; sons, Robert Pope and Josh Sanders; daughter, Janie Pope; sisters, Rita Evans and husband Robert and Mary Collier; brothers, Wayne Collier and wife Reeva and Gerald Pope; and grandchildren, Jordan Sanders, Bentley Pope and Harmony Pope. Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Monday, January 27, 2025 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Kings Mountain with Pastor Randy Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery.
