Ethel Hartman

Gastonia- Ethel Carter Hartman, 89, og 127 Tanya Court, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at peak Resources in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland county, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Zula Pruett Carter. PRECEDED: In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore F. Hartman; brother, Hazel Carter; sister, Pauline Keller. SURVIVORS: She is survived one daughter, Shirley B. Whisnant of Stacy, NC; three grandchildren, Jacqueline W. Mason of Gastonia, Carroll Eugene Whisnant, Jr. and Shannon A. Whisnant both of Stacy, NC; three great Grandchildren, Alan R. Mason, Nakisha Armstrong both of Gastonia, Danielle N. Whisnant of Lenoir; two great great grandchildren, Abby and sawyer Armstrong; many nieces and nephews. VISITATION: The family will receive friends 1:00pm – 2:30 pm Tuesday at Penelope Baptist Church in Hickory. FUNERAL: A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Penelope Baptist Church in Hickory. INTERMENT:. Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
