Eugene Brown

SHELBY- Eugene “Gene” C. Brown, 94, formerly of Iowa Falls, passed away on March 15, 2018. His body simply shut down, and he went to be with the Lord. Born near Smith Center, KS, on his father’s farm at 1:20 am, with an outside temperature of minus 20, he was the son of John M. Brown and Ethel V. Wonderly Brown. Gene had a variety of occupations, including radio technician in several states, and scheduling products for production at Prestressed Concrete in Iowa Falls.

Surviving is his wife, Betsy V. Brown, whom he married on June 30, 1973, plus a large number of wonderful nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings.

There will be a memorial service, the date of which shall be announced late, to honor a man who rarely said an unkind work in his life!
