Eva Wease

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mrs. Eva K. Wease, 91, of 716 Sipes Street, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Luther and Eliza Jane Wilson Green. Mrs. Wease was a charter member of David Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Worth “Bill” Wease; two brothers, Yates and J.C. Green; and three sisters, Margaret Greene, Vernie Bowen, and Betty Edwards.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by her son Billy Wease and wife Starlene of Shelby; three daughters Betty Jane Jenkins and husband Tom of Kings Mountain, Joyce Lynn and husband Richard of Shelby, and Cathie Wease Prosser of Kings Mountain, eight grandchildren, Sandy Jones, Tracy Pullen, Steve Blanton, Billy Ray Wease Jr., Shawn Wease, Molly Kendrick, Caine Barber, and Casey Irvin; nineteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, October 23, 2009, from 1-2pm, in the David Baptist Church fellowship hall.

FUNERAL: A service will be held Friday, October 23, 2009, 2pm, at David Baptist Church.

INTERMENT:. Burial will immediately follow in David Baptist Church Cemetery.

CLERGY: Revs. Jody Griffin and Jack Buchanan Jr. will be officiating.
