Evelyn Ledbetter

SHELBY- Mrs. Evelyn Turner Ledbetter, 70, of 2842 Dravo Rd., died Sun. Apr. 1, 2012 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland Co. she was the daughter of the late Lee and Rosalee Allen Turner. She retired from Kemit and was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Ledbetter; one granddaughter; and two great grandchildren.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bill Ledbetter of the home; son Allen Ledbetter and wife Natasha of Shelby; seven sisters, Brenda Turner of Boiling Springs, Betty Moore, Jane Drewery, Judy O’Connor and husband Guy, Gaye Mullinax and husband Bill, Lynn Kelley, all of Shelby, Anita Causby and husband Mike of Mooresboro; brother, Steve Turner and wife Karen of Shelby; six grandchildren, Nicholas Ledbetter of Shelby, Steven Brown of Spindale, Trey Ledbetter and wife Leah, Phillip Ledbetter, all of Shelby, Amanda Ledbetter of Chesnee, Lisa Yuzvuk of Shelby; five great grandchildren.

SERVICES: Tuesday, 2pm, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 6-7:30pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at her home.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery
