MOORESBORO- Mr. Flay Herbert Flynn, Sr. 46, of 313 West Church St., Mooresboro, died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at home.
FUNERAL: Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: A native of Cleveland County, he was a son to the late Ralph Franklin and Kathleen Cook Flynn and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in the maintenance department at Gardner-Webb University.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Flynn.
SURVIVORS: His wife, Michelle Widenhouse Flynn and two sons, Flay Jr. and Michael Cook, all of the home; four brothers, Dennis Flynn and wife Pat of Shelby, Ronald Flynn and wife Hattie of Columbia. SC, Darrell Flynn and wife, Amaka of Wilson, NC, and a twin, Ray Flynn and wife, Patty of Charlotte.
