Frances Brewer

SHELBY - Mary Frances Brewer, 91, of West Warren Street, died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at White Oak Manor of Shelby. A native of Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Estelle Hall Abrams. She worked many years in the banking industry and was a member of Shelby Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsey Brewer Sr.
She is survived by her son, Bud Brewer and wife Martha of Waco; daughter, Saundra Dochniak and husband Don of Paducah, Ky.; two grandchildren, Matthew and Ashlee Dochniak; and two great-grandchildren, Madalynn Dochniak and Mason Bressler.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem
Funeral home: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby is serving the family.
