Frances Mcswain

SHELBY- Mrs. Ida Frances Lee McSwain, 89, died Sun., Oct 24, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Twiggs County, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Belvie Jones Lee. Frances retired from Hoechst Celanese, and was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lawton McSwain; four brothers, Osborne, Olin, Howard, and Berry Lee.


SURVIVED: She is survived by her two sons, Mike McSwain and wife Joy and Tommy McSwain, both of Shelby; four grandchildren, Mike McSwain and wife Deanna of Dallas, Steve McSwain and wife Sherri, Chad McSwain and wife Ashley, and Tracy Creasman and husband Paul, all of Shelby; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Carrie Lee of Shelby.


SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 12pm, Wednesday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home of her son, Mike McSwain, 709 McSwain Rd., Shelby.
