SHELBY- Mr. Dustin Joe Frank Anthony, 101, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Lincoln County, Frank lived most of his life in Boiling Springs. He was the last of eleven children of Joseph Robert and Maggie Black Anthony. He worked as a carpenter, painter, mill hand and farmer. Frank was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid collector and enjoyed yard sales and riding his 4-wheeler. He never retired.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Martin Anthony; six brothers Austin, Claude, Sol, Charlie, Marvin, and Bill; and four sisters Myrtle Clary, Pearline Bridges, Mary Sue Hamrick and Elsie Martin.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by a son, Ray Anthony and wife, Jo of Grover; grandson, Greg Anthony and wife, Teresa; step-grandson Chris Ellis and wife Terrie; great-grandsons, Brandon and Evan Anthony, Lewis and Bradley Ellis and Jerrod Lankford; and a number of fine nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Ray, 127 Pine Hollow, Grover from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007; the body will not be available for viewing at that time.
FUNERAL: A graveside service will be at 10:00 Friday, August 3, 2007 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
