Frank "Applejack" Appleman

July 2, 1957 — June 15, 2015

Frank Appleman, 57, passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. A native of Durham County, NC, he was the son of the late Joseph Carpenter and Mary Callaway. He worked for UPS in Gaffney and all his friends knew him as “Applejack”.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Joanie Appleman; two brothers, and one sister.

SURVIVED: He is survived by two daughters, Joann Appleman of Grover, and Melissa Appleman and her boyfriend, Mark Putnam of the home; four sisters; two brothers; and six grandchildren, Macy, Erica, Alexis, Nicolas, Will, and Mason.

SERVICES: A funeral will be 10:00 am Friday in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6-7:30 pm Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery
