Gail Langston

SHELBY: Rebecca “Gail” Langston, 68, died Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Atrium Health in Charlotte. Born in TX, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Langston Sr. and Mary Lou McCurry Langston. She was a faithful member of Lafayette Street United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Langston Jr. She is survived by her niece, Brittanie McElwaine and husband Casey of Cramerton; great niece and nephew, Currie and Roman McElwaine; and many extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held 7:00PM, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Lafayette St. U.M.C with Pastor Jeremy McSwain officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00PM, prior to the service, in the fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Clifford’s, PO Box 370, Earl, NC 28038
