Gary Smith

BESSEMER CITY: Gary Alan Smith, 72, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at his home. A native of Gaston County, he was son of the late Henry and Lois Smith. Gary loved to hunt, fish, and most of all he loved his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Johnny and Artie Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Pat Martin Smith of the home; daughter, Lisa Rhom and husband Chris of Kings Mountain; sisters, Detri Smith of Gastonia, Barbara Smith of York, SC, Debra Carroll and husband Bobby of Franklin, Terry Poston and husband Jimmy of Crouse, and Phyllis Brasswell and husband Matthew of Bessemer City; brother, Mike Smith and wife Sandra of Dallas; grandchildren, Holden Adams and wife Martena of Kings Mountain, Sumer and Alisha Rhom; and great-grandchildren, Paislee and Aiden Adams.
