Geneva Atkins

LATTIMORE- Mrs. Geneva Edmondson Atkins, 88, of 2725 Deer Dr., died Thurs., Feb. 16, 2012 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Jackson Co., GA, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Melinda Smith Edmondson.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Sims Atkins; sons Jimmy and Larry Atkins; grandson, Derek Hamrick; brothers, Ike and Thurlow Edmondson; sisters, Estie Edmondson, Mary Wilson, Lecti Russ; son in law, Ernest Green; daughter in law, Cookie Atkins.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her four sons, Johnny Atkins and wife Linda of Grover, Jerry Atkins of Lattimore, Ronnie Atkins and wife Jean Stein of Forest City, Butch Atkins of Lattimore; three daughters, Roseann Green of Lattimore, Brenda Hamrick and husband Doug of Forest City, and Becky Atkins of Lattimore; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.


SERVICES: 11am, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: Friday, 6-8pm, Friday, at the funeral home, and other times at her home.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
