SHELBY: George Allen Puckett, 82, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at White Oak Manor in Shelby. He was born in the state of Washington and served in the U.S. Airforce. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Sibyl Edwards Puckett; and granddaughter, Sloan Wright. He is survived by his daughter, Alice Wright of Forest City; grandchildren, Chase Wright and wife Lydia and Marissa Baker and husband Jacob, both of Shelby; and great grandchildren, Sawyer and Lilian Wright.
