SHELBY- Mrs. Georgia Smith Earl, 86, of 2751 S. Lafayette St., died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at White Oak Manor. A native of Fulton County, GA, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Oaks Smith. Mrs. Georgia worked for Lilly Mill. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, enjoyed going to church and ready her bible. She also had a passion for gardening.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 grandson.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Jimmy L. Earl and wife Lisa of Shelby; two daughters, Brenda E. Daves and Steve Dew of Greer, SC and Betty Greene and husband Miles of Mooresboro; many nieces and nephews; and her Sunday School Class at Faith Baptist Church.
SERVICES: 2pm, Tuesday, Faith Baptist Church.
VISITATION: 6-7:30, Monday, Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, Shelby
BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
