Gertrude Cooper

September 11, 1928 — March 20, 2015

SHELBY-Gertrude Holland Cooper, 86, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Bundy and Alta Bridges Holland. Being homebound for many years, she considered herself a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Toy Cooper; and four brothers and sisters.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Pam Laws and husband Larry of Shelby; granddaughter, Taylor Ledford; step-grandchildren, Lashanda Gomes and Michael Laws; great-grandchildren, Dawlton Osborne, Jaeden and Emily Gomes; and many nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Monday, 3pm, at Cornerstone Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Monday, 1:30-3pm, at the church.

BURIAL: Lattimore Baptist Church

CLERGY: Dr. Bo Wagner officiating
