SHELBY: Gloria Head, 82, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, at her home. Gloria was a proud day care owner all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Head. She was the mother of Tracy, Gloria, Patty, Connie, and Gary; Grandmother to seven; Great-grandmother to five; and Great-great-grandmother to two. Services will be private to the family.

Aquamation services are entrusted to Clay-Barnette Funeral Home & Aquamation Center.
