SHELBY- Ms. Grace Price Miler, 80, of 209 Charles Rd., died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.
FUNERAL: A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2006 at Sunset Cemetery.
BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery
VISITATION: The family will receive friends an hour before the service at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Cleveland County on August 26, 1925, to the late Ervin P. Price and Meade Patterson Price, she was retired from the Lily Mill and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn “Bill” Miller, a brother, Earl Price and a sister, Beulah Clark.
SURVIVORS: Ms. Miller is survived by two daughters, Reba Smith and Cheryl Phifer and husband, John “Tommy”, all of Mt. Holly; two sisters, Helen Davis and husband, Thurman and Beatrice Dyer and husband, Arthur, all of Shelby; a brother, Thurman “Soupy” Price, of Shelby; four grandchildren, Robert Smith and wife, Bobbie, of Kings Mountain, Paul Leslie and wife, Kristy, of Virginia Beach, VA, Rebecca Smith and Erica Bowen of Mt. Holly; great grandson, Dustin Smith of Shelby, nine other great grandchildren; and former sister-in-law, Betty Blanton of Shelby.
