Greta Gamble

SHELBY- Mrs. Greta Lewis Gamble, 98, of 134 Spring Lakes Drive, Georgia, died, Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Warrenton Heath and Rehab Center. She was the daughter to the late Benjamin Alexander Lewis and Margreta Lutz Lewis and retired as a school secretary. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Gamble, and 2 brothers. She is survived by her son, Dr. William H. Gamble Jr. and wife Connie of Augusta, GA, a daughter Greta Joan Triolo of CA, two grandchildren, Cynthia Wells of CA, and Rachel Gamble of Augusta, GA, and a niece, Betty Gamble of Kings Mountain.The family will receive friends today (Sunday) from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow today (Sunday) at 4:00pm, at El Bethel United Methodist Church. Rev. William Mandelstamm will be officiating
