Gunner William Wood

SHELBY- Mr. Gunner William Wood, 40, of 2414 Shoal Creek Church Road, passed away Saturday December 28, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Lake County, Indiana, he was born February 1, 1973, son of William Wood and wife Nancy and Linda Harmston and husband Wayne. He was employed at Carrigan Auto Parts.


SURVIVED: In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Vivian Roberts of the home; three sons, Aaron age 21 of Shelby, Noe age 24 of Indiana, David age 13 of Shelby; one daughter, Kimberly age 17 of Lincolnton; one sister, Christi Deckman of Ft. Wayne, IN; three brothers, Jason Wood and wife Donna Of LaGrange, IN, Justin Wood of Avilla, IN, Kenny Wood and wife Tiff of Avilla IN; two grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, JoAnn Roberts and three sister-in-laws.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.
