Hailey Jackson

SHELBY- Hailey Sheyenne Jackson, 22, died Monday, January 31, 2022. Born in Gaston County, she is the daughter of Kelly Flood and stepfather, Shane of KY, and Randy Jackson and stepmother, Alma of FL. Hailey was a perfect loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, and friend who will be deeply missed. She loved her children with all her heart. Hailey was employed at Walmart distribution center and was a student at Cleveland Community College where she was studying to become a surgical technician which was her dream job. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Smith and Tommy and Donna Vess. In addition to her parents she is survived by step parents, Billy and Dee Blanton and Richard Kiser; children, Keely and Jaxton Rice and their father, Kaylen Rice; sibling, Gage Blanton, Aubrey Kiser, Jay Flood, Dillon Flood, Eliza Flood, Jaden Flood, Carson Flood, Jaylen Moore, Elijah Smith, and Rebecca Jackson; grandparents, Muriel Luckytino, Roger and Rosetta Blanton, Donnie and Krista Jackson and Paul and Debbie Flood; aunts and uncles, Sierra and Kyle Upchurch, John and Kelly Nontell, Kristal Jackson, Chris Jackson, Dwayne and David Blanton, Jeremy flood, Jeff Flood, Joanna Flood, Christina Sullens, and Crystal Helms; niece, Graylynn Kiser and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the entire Marzan family.
A memorial service will be held 2PM, Saturday, February 5,2022, in the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Strom officiating.
