KINGS MOUNTAIN: Harold Dean Keown,68, died Sunday, December 3,2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Roma and Nancy Loretta Pharris Keown. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Keown; sisters, Edith Goff and Kaye Earls; and brothers, Carl Keown and Bernard Keown. Harold is survived by his wife June Keown; daughter, Lisa Ponder and husband Michael of Gaffney, SC; sisters, Sharon Salee and husband David of Owensboro, KY, Kathy Shartcer and husband Jimmy of Shelby, Alice Penner and husband Bobby of Leitchfield, KY, Pat Duvall of Caneyville, KY, Mary Hayes and husband Roger of Whitesville, KY, and Jean Ward of Clarkson, KY; brothers, Kevin Keown and wife Jenny of Owensboro, KY, Bobby Keown and wife Lois of Leitchfield, KY, and Randy Keown and wife Pauline of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Taylor Ponder, Amber Ponder, Shon Ponder, and Morgan Kiser, and great-grandchildren, Valina and Julian Angel.
