Harry Coggins

SHELBY – Mr. Harry Anderson Coggins, 59, of 113 Blackhawk Dr., died Sun., Nov. 4, 2012 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late James and Ida McCurry Coggins. He served in the US Army.

PRECEDED: in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Gray; and special nephew Eric Coggins.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Millie Ferree Coggins of the home; two sons, Joshua Coggins and fiancé Nikki Gaultney of the home, Travis Coggins and wife Ashley of Chesnee; four step-children, Curtis Hardin and wife Donna of Rutherfordton, Tonya Hoppes of the home, Shane VanDyke, Jason VanDyke, both of Golden Valley; two brothers, William Coggins and wife Vynelle of Laurens, SC, and John Coggins of Millsprings; three step-grandchildren, Auston Hoppes of Golden Valley, Braeden and Graycee Hardin of Rutherfordton; four nephews; and one niece.

SERVICES: 2pm, Wednesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at his home.
