Harvey Dean Lawson

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Harvey Dean Lawson, 68, died Monday, Apr. 11, 2016, at his home. He was the son of Betty Elizabeth Moses Lawson of King Mountain, and the late Phillip Arthur Lawson Sr. He was a member of Church of God Kings Mountain.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his sons, Michael and Patrick Lawson of Idaho; daughters, Laura Lawson of Shelby, and Mandy Lawson Leary of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Linda Lawson Ellis and husband Benjamin of Blacksburg, Shirley Lawson Kirby and husband Howard of Gaffney, and Rita Lawson Roberts and husband Kenneth of Kings Mountain; brother, Phillip Arthur Lawson Jr. and wife Debbie of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Emily Galloway and Hannah Buchanan of Shelby.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: A graveside service will be held 2:30pm, Thursday, at Mountain Rest Cemetery

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 1-2pm, Thursday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

CLERGY: Michael Smith will officiate
