Hazel Marilyn Mcswain

SHELBY- Marilyn McSwain, 80, moved to her heavenly home Monday, April 2, 2018 at Cleveland Pines of Shelby. A native of Rutherford Co., She was born to the late Floyd and Gertrude Dycus Hughes. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church and she loved her Lord and family.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin McSwain; a son; brothers, Kenneth and Dwight Hughes; and granddaughter, Marissa Hamrick.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughters, Bonita Thomas and husband Charles of Boiling Springs, Paula Hamrick and husband Greg of Shelby, and Debbie Steading of Tennessee; son, Ronnie Childers and wife Rhonda of Cliffside; sisters, Cozette Coats and husband Sam of Cliffside, Patt Brown and husband Don of Bostic, Dianne Hewett of Charlotte, and Donnis Gibson and husband Ken of Arizona; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICES: will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in conjunction with Faith Baptist Church’s 7:00 PM service.

OFFICIATING: Dr. Barry Goodman

BURIAL: A private graveside service will be held prior to the service
