Helen Defonce

SHELBY – Mrs. Helen Morrison DeFonce, 95, died Tues., Oct. 16, 2012 at Peak Resources of Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Mattie Morrison. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony DeFonce Sr.; and two brothers, Pete and Earl Morrison.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Anthony DeFonce Jr. and wife Shari of Matthews; daughter, Gail DeFonce of Shelby; and grandson, Jason M. DeFonce of Mint Hill.

SERVICES: A private family entombment will take place at Cleveland Memorial Park Mausoleum
