SHELBY- Mrs. Mary Helen Morrison Prince, 83, of Century Care and formerly of Davidson, NC, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Mrs. Prince was a native of York County, SC and a daughter to the late William Edgar and Daisy Mae Lowe Morrison. She was a former employee of Cannon Mills and formerly a member of Parkwood A.R.P. Presbyterian Church of Charlotte. She was an avid gardener, who loved her flowers and working in her yard.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Obie, “R.J.”, and Bobby Morrison, and two sisters, Marie Earney and Lucille Dale.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by two sons, Ronald “R.W.” Humphries and his wife Brenda and Tommy J. Stanley and his wife Linda, both of Shelby; a daughter, Linda Jean Bost and her husband Wayne of Concord, NC; one brother, Larry T. Morrison of Lake Lure; one sister, Margaret Spencer of Shelby; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 1:30-2:30pm at Clay-Barnette F.H.
FUNERAL: Graveside service Thursday, Nov. 2, at 3:00pm at Sunset Cemetery.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Her nephew, Rev. Michael Morrison.
