SHELBY- Mr. Homer Roberts, 88, of 111 Bronco Drive, Grover died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006 at Century Care of Shelby.
PERSONAL HISTORY: He was a native of Cleveland County and son to the late Edley and Molly Leigh Roberts. He was a farmer.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Two brothers, Clayton and Frank Roberts; and two sisters, Elizabeth Blanton and Mildred Blanton.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by two brothers, Jack Roberts of Shelby, and Richard Roberts and his wife Sue of Grover; three sisters, Mamie Hoopaugh of Cherryville, Gertrude Patrick and Ruth Childrez, both of Shelby; a brother-in-law, Thomas Blanton of Shelby; and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Wednesday, (Nov. 15) from 10-11:00am at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, (Nov. 15) 11:00am in the Chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
