James House

KINGS MOUNTAIN-James “Jim” House Jr., 74, of Oak Grove Road, died Sat., Sept. 6, 2014, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Bartow Co., GA, he was the son of the late James House Sr. and Jewel Keeling House. He was a retired Army Vietnam Veteran. He later worked and retired from Reliance Electric. Jim was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Faye Carrigan House; and two brothers.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his three daughters, Dee Dee Wright and husband Phil of Shelby, Pamela Sumlar of Grover, and Lisa House of Charlotte; grandsons, Chris Severs, Joey House, Brandon Wright, Mark and Nicholas Sumlar.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Wednesday, 4p.m., at Mountain Rest Cemetery with military honor’s
