BOILING SPRINGS- Mr. James Moore, 62, of 1619 Patrick Ave., died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at home. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of the late E.D. Moore and Rosella Fowler Moore of Shelby. He was retired as a mechanic.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Henderson, a brother, Tince Moore, and a grandson, Justin Crouse.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Gary Moore and wife, Jennifer, of Blacksburg, SC; two daughters, Aleta Crouse and husband, Dustin, of Lincolnton and Cynthia Pruett Witherspoon of Boiling Springs; six sisters, Barbara Cash, Florence Humphries, Brenda Jones, Helen Strange, Judy Emory, and Kathy Pruett; two brothers, Tommy Moore and Mickey Moore; seven grandchildren, Gary Moore, Jr., Jacey Moore, Garrett Moore, Austin Crouse, Colby Crouse, Dylan Witherspoon and David Witherspoon.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Shelby Free Will Baptist Church and at other times at the home of his sister, Florence Humphries, 1150 Poplar Springs Church Rd., Shelby.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Shelby Free Will Baptist Church.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
