Janice "Jan" Walker

HICKORY- Janice “Jan” Walker, 67, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at her residence. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Iris Riddle Hamrick. She loved her job at the Snack Bar in Hickory and especially loved her customers.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Russell Walker and one brother, Craig Hamrick.
SURVIVED: She is survived by one sister, Benita Runyans of Earl; one niece, Amanda Morrow and husband Jaime; great nieces and nephew, Aubreanna, Luke, Katilyn, and Lexi.
SERVICES: a Funeral service will be held, 1PM Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
